I have over 25 years of experience as an IT professional and entrepreneur, I’ve studied Drama and Theatre Studies, been on stage and screen, so I know a thing or two about running a business and being in front of the camera.
I was also chosen by YouTube in 2023 to be part of their High-Five Programme, and now have a YouTube Shorts Partner Manager.
But this isn’t about me!
Let’s get your mind into gear about YOU and YOUR BUSINESS.

Descript
Descript is the only tool you need to write, record, transcribe, edit, collaborate, and share your videos and podcasts.
I use Descript to record my Tech Talks & Soul Walks Podcast #TTSW
For the Interview-style episodes I use Squadcast which is included with Descript. It sends an easy to use link to my Interviewee allowing them to simply use their phone!
Squadcast creates high-quality audio and video content without having to download any software as it’s all done over the web. It uses auto-save while recording to retain all content, even in the case of technical failures. This basically means if you are doing a remote/2 person recording, it records and uploads BOTH recordings seperatley.
I then edit the video in Descript, because it transcribes the video and lets me edit it as if it’s a text-based document. If you know how to cut/copy/paste text, that is how it works. Yes, even for a video recording. Genius!
I then use Descript to create my YouTube Shorts/Clips for Social Media.
With a couple of clicks, I have exported the transcript for the Podcast, exported the subtitles for the YouTube video version of my Podcast, and AI can also generate the Podcast/Video Chapters along with suggesting a Title and Description!
RSS.com
RSS.com was designed with the user in mind to help anyone and everyone launch a podcast in less than five minutes. With just a few clicks, someone who wants to get their message out to the world can create an account and upload an episode for free.
RSS.com is the only company I felt suited my requirements, and I definitely do my research before I make a final choice!
